Speaks
When Madelaine left her home community, her goal was to break the unhealthy cycles of addiction. Her story of survival leaves no one indifferent. She tells the story of how it took many years to break the cycle of violence and broken relationships to emerge changed, reborn, and aptly named Strong Earth Woman.
Life was not easy for Madelaine. At 12 years old she was on the road, hitchhiking from Northern Saskatchewan to British Columbia to find her father. Despite the challenges of her younger years, Madelaine completed high school with honours. After her post-secondary education, she went on to become an Indigenous Youth Facilitator, and continues to provide education on suicide prevention, healthy relationships, and honouring “the Fire Within”.
As she shares the dance of her life, her message illuminates the room. When she speaks, you feel her authenticity. Invite Madelaine to show you the invisible lines of connection we all share, through her stories and her life experiences. Madelaine will change the way her audience feels about their past and their wounds.
